The Cottage takes on the role of a tourist information centre in Rothes providing local information and leaflets., There are also information boards around the village with points of interest. Visitors are able to access the Internet and check email at the cottage. See the See & Do section for more details.

There is a cash machine (ATM) outside the library - in Seafield Square.

Public conveniences: these are signposted from New Street.

Stagecoach operate the local bus service. No.336 & No.337 serve Rothes and the surrounding towns.
