National Geographic Traveler Magazine's expert panel has given the Moray Firth from Inverness to Peterhead a top rating. The panel believe the Moray Firth to be "in excellent shape, relatively unspoiled, and likely to remain so". Other coastal destinations in the top rated category include the Cook Islands, Canada's Avalon Peninsula and the Chilean Fjords. Good company indeed!
Panelists noted the wonderful Moray Firth beaches, lovely coastal villages, dolphins and outdoor activities.
