The Stag at Baxters’ Visitor Centre

Although there is no tourist information centre in Fochabers, there are information boards in the square with points of interest and walking routes. Local leaflets are also available from the museum and the library. "A Stroll around Fochabers" and "Walks around Fochabers" will help make the most of your visit.

Visitors are able to access the Internet and check email at Fochabers Library - please take proof of address.

There is a cash machine (ATM) at the West end of the main street and at the Clydesdale Bank.

Public conveniences: from the A96, turn into East Street, (opposite the museum) and follow the road down to the play park area.

Transport

The main car parking spaces are around Fochabers’ Square. These are free. There are a few spaces behind the museum for visitors to Fochabers museum.

The main bus stop is in the square. The No.10 is the main bus service between Inverness (Elgin direction) & Aberdeen (Keith direction).
